Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran will not seek reappointment, to serve remaining term

N Chandrasekaran, Tata Sons chairman, will not seek reappointment when his term ends on February 20, 2027.

He will serve the remaining term and has asked the Board to decide on succession soon for a proper transition.

Tata Sons has many strategic projects under critical stages, and clarity on leadership is important for employees and stakeholders.

Chandrasekaran will be 65 at the conclusion of his second term in February 2027.
