Tata Power Renewable adds TN solar project, portfolio reaches 12.3 GW

•Tata Power Renewable Energy commissioned a 100 MW solar project in Tamil Nadu, increasing its utility portfolio to 12.3 GW.

•The project will supply clean power to Tata Group companies, including TP Solar, Tata Electronics, and Tata Realty And Infrastructure.

•The project generates 240.63 million units of clean electricity annually, offsetting 1.5 lakh tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.

•Tata Power Renewable Energy has 7 GW operational capacity, with 5.3 GW under development, supporting India's renewable energy transition.
