Power Grid wins ₹823 crore annual tariff bid for Gujarat transmission project under TBCB

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd won a ₹823 crore annual tariff bid for a Gujarat transmission project under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB).

The project involves establishing a new Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) and 765 kV transmission lines in Gujarat.

The project will be developed on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis, with a Letter of Intent issued on August 21, 2026.

Power Grid's shares ended at ₹272.30, up by ₹7.05, or 2.66%, on the BSE.
