PNGRB approves 1,800 km LPG pipeline network worth Rs 7,000 crore
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has approved 3 new LPG pipeline projects worth Rs 7,000 crore.
The projects, developed by GAIL (India) Ltd, will expand the country's common-carrier LPG pipeline network by 23.5%.
The new pipelines will cover 1,800 km, connecting Telangana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, and Goa.
The expansion aims to reduce dependence on road transport and improve fuel supply resilience.
