ONGC strikes gas in Mahanadi deepwater well off Odisha coast Under Samudra Manthan
ONGC struck gas at a deepwater well in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin off the Odisha coast on September 18.
The well, MN-DW18-1-H-D, was drilled to 1,623 metres and recorded gas at 1,441-1,452 metres.
The discovery is part of ONGC's Samudra Manthan campaign and may be monetised early due to its proximity to the coast.
