NMDC Steel's Q1 net profit jumped 97.6% to ₹50.51 crore, up from ₹25.56 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue rose 8.8% to ₹3,661.84 crore, while EBITDA declined 2% to ₹399.56 crore.
The company's net worth stood at ₹13,228.35 crore as of June 30, with a debt-equity ratio of 0.38.
The government continues to search for a buyer to divest its 50.79% stake in NMDC Steel.
