•Larsen & Toubro, Coal India, and Renew are among 20 bidders for a ₹7,280-crore scheme to promote rare earth magnet manufacturing in India.

•The scheme aims to establish 6,000 MTPA of integrated sintered NdFeB magnet manufacturing capacity in India, with capacity allocated to five beneficiaries.

•Global firms like NEO Performance Materials and Proterial are among the bidders, alongside Indian companies like 20 Microns and Lohum Magnets & Energy Solutions.
