JSW Energy places 1,600 MW turbine-generator order for Phase II of Salboni project

JSW Energy placed a 1,600 MW turbine-generator order with Toshiba JSW Power Systems for Phase II of Salboni project.

The order completes equipment orders for the entire 3,200 MW Salboni Thermal Power Project in West Bengal.

JSW Thermal has placed the order through its associate company, Toshiba JSW Power Systems Private Ltd.

The project aims to provide reliable baseload power alongside India's renewable expansion.
