IRFC expands beyond railways with ₹4,200 crore renewable energy loan to DVC

IRFC signed a ₹4,200 crore term loan with DVC to finance renewable energy projects in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
The funding supports floating, ground-mounted, rooftop solar, and battery storage projects using DVC's existing land and infrastructure.
IRFC Chairman Manoj Kumar Dubey said renewable energy is key to Indian Railways' goal of achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2030.
IRFC's financing portfolio now includes renewable energy, power, metro rail, and logistics, expanding beyond railways.
