India's forex reserves rise $12.4 billion to record high of $729.3 billion

•India's foreign exchange reserves reached a record high of $729.3 billion, up $12.4 billion from the previous week.
•Reserves have recovered sharply since June, mainly due to a concessional swap window announced by the RBI on June 5, mobilising $72.8 billion in inflows.
•Foreign currency assets (FCAs) increased by $9.48 billion to $591.33 billion, with $6.1 billion attributed to actual dollar purchases by the RBI.
•Gold reserves rose by $2.8 billion to $114.22 billion, with gold prices increasing by 5.18 per cent to $4,603 per oz.
