India proposes extending tax breaks for contract manufacturing until 2041 to boost Apple's iPhone manufacturing in the country.
The extended tax exemption will apply to manufacturers of mobile devices, laptops, and wearable electronic devices.
Tax breaks will also benefit data centers and diamond traders, in addition to Apple's iPhone manufacturing expansion in India.
