Grasim Industries swings to profit in Q1, revenue rises 21% YoY

•Grasim Industries reported a standalone net profit of Rs 247 crore for Q1 FY27, reversing a net loss of Rs 118 crore in the same quarter last year.

•The company's revenue from operations increased 28% YoY to Rs 11,795 crore, driven by a favourable product mix and pricing environment.

•On a consolidated basis, Grasim Industries reported a 51% YoY jump in net profit to Rs 2,146 crore, with revenue from operations rising 21% YoY to Rs 48,716 crore.

•The company's grey cement capacity is set to expand to over 240 MTPA by March 2028, with UltraTech's total grey cement capacity currently at 205.5 MTPA.
