Govt clears 31 electronics components manufacturing proposals worth ₹7,877 crore; likely to create 10,000 jobs

•The central government has cleared 31 proposals worth ₹7,877 crore under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS).

•The projects are expected to generate electronics production worth ₹82,243 crore and create nearly 10,000 jobs across 10 states.

•The approved proposals include investments from companies like GX Group, Centum Electronics, and Sensata Technologies, among others.

•The total investment in ECMS now exceeds ₹69,548 crore, with expected production reaching ₹5,34,101 crore.
