FPIs resume selling, pull out ₹7,443 cr from equities in first week of Sep

•Foreign investors pulled out ₹7,443 crore from Indian equities in the first week of September.
•This outflow comes after FPIs infused over ₹29,600 crore in August and ₹20,200 crore in July.
•Total outflow by foreign portfolio investors from Indian equities reached ₹2.32 lakh crore in 2026, surpassing ₹1.66 lakh crore in 2025.
•FPIs withdrew ₹377 crore from debt market through Fully Accessible Route and ₹231 crore through Voluntary Retention Route.
